After being blown away by the beauty of Arkansas, we rolled into Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, not knowing quite what to expect. Turns out—this place is absolutely stunning.
Obviously, being Minnesota natives, we have a deep love for lake life, but there was something about Osage Beach that made it feel extra special. Maybe it was the laid-back energy, the endless water views, or the fact that everywhere you go seems to have a dock and a drink waiting for you—but we were hooked.

Picture this: a sun-soaked day on the water, hopping from one lakeside bar to the next, surrounded by the high energy of bachelor and bachelorette parties. Watching the young-ins throw back drinks like it was their job had us both laughing and reminiscing about our own party days. Ahh, the good ol’ days… 😂
A Special Moment at the Lake
Beyond the fun, there was also a deeply meaningful moment—we had the opportunity to scatter some of Pop’s ashes into the lake. It was the kind of place he would have absolutely loved, and it felt like the perfect way to honor him. 💙
Ozarks: A Future Summer Spot?
This trip totally surprised us, and we can easily see ourselves spending a summer here someday. The combination of beautiful scenery, lake adventures, and laid-back vibes is exactly the kind of place we love.
