Greer was just a quick stop for us on our journey but packed with some fun. It was our first glimpse into the Mountains of the Carolinas. We took a tour of the BMW facility. It is fascinating to see what is behind the manufacturing of a vehicle. We were just in awe of the engineering minds that put the whole process together through machinery and human working in lock step together. We ventured to a lovely preserve in Spartanburg called Hatcher Garden. What I wouldn’t give for that to be our back yard. Greer had the cutest little downtown strip so of course we enjoyed some cold brews while there. We stumbled across the cutest little distillery called Sugar Tit. While its name may sound offensive, we just had to check this place out. We met the most amazing man who started this venture up on his own. He gave us a tour and we did a tasting of course. The people you meet is truly one of the biggest blessings of this nomadic life. And, finally a venture to the Greenville Zoo and downtown Greenville did not disappoint. What a lovely town centered on the Reedy River Falls. Would definitely go back to this area for a longer stay.
