Final Tennessee stop – Chattanooga. We actually stayed just south of town which was technically Georgia. We experienced some crazy rain while here but also had a couple of great adventures. We spent a couple hours on the Tennessee river on a Raccoon Mountain boat tour. It was just past peak colors, but it was a beautiful day and such a fun cruise – just the two of us and our ‘captain’. We were also able to connect with an old Minnesota friend, Dennis who lives in Georgia now. We were so blessed he and his better half  took the trek to visit us at Lookout Mountain. The gardens, rock formations, swinging bridge, view of seven states and the fairyland caverns were amazing. And I got to enjoy some Georgia wine while we were at it. We loved the Chattanooga area. It has a great downtown on the river and our favorite town in the area was Ooltewah, which has a great little square of new retail, restaurants and bar areas to enjoy. I am sure we will be back to the area in the future.
