Final Tennessee Stop – Chattanooga 🌄🚤

Our last stop in Tennessee was Chattanooga, though we actually stayed just south of town—technically in Georgia. While we experienced some crazy rain during our stay, we still managed to fit in some great adventures.

Cruising the Tennessee River 🚢🍁

One of the highlights was spending a few hours on the Tennessee River with a Raccoon Mountain boat tour. We just missed peak fall colors, but it was still a beautiful day on the water. The best part? It was just the two of us and our captain, making for a relaxing and personal cruise.

Exploring Lookout Mountain & Catching Up with Friends 🏔️🍷

We were also able to catch up with an old Minnesota friend, Dennis, who now lives in Georgia. We felt so lucky that he and his better half took the trek to meet us at Lookout Mountain.

The area was stunning, featuring:
🌿 Beautiful gardens
🪨 Unique rock formations
🌉 A swinging bridge
🌎 A panoramic view of seven states!
🧚‍♀️ The whimsical Fairyland Caverns

Oh, and I got to enjoy some delicious Georgia wine while we were at it—always a bonus! 🍷

Chattanooga’s Downtown Charm & Our Favorite Hidden Gem 🏙️🍽️

We loved Chattanooga’s downtown, especially its location right on the river. But our favorite town in the area? Ooltewah! This charming spot had a great little square filled with new retail, restaurants, and bar areas—such a fun place to explore.

We’re sure this won’t be our last visit to the Chattanooga area. With so much to see and do, we’re already looking forward to coming back! 🚐✨
