A visit to Black Beach in 2020 opened our eyes to the insane beauty of the North Shore of Lake Superior—a place we had somehow overlooked despite living in Minnesota for years. So, of course, we had to go back!

This trip did not disappoint. We explored some of the North Shore’s most breathtaking spots, from the rushing waters of Gooseberry Falls to the serene beauty of Cascade Falls. Temperance River amazed us with its powerful, swirling currents, while Two Harbors and Grand Marais offered charming small-town vibes that made us fall even more in love with this stretch of Minnesota.

No matter how many times we visit, the North Shore never gets old. The dramatic cliffs, hidden waterfalls, and that deep, endless blue of Lake Superior—it’s pure magic. We already know… we’ll be back again. ❤️
