Though Greer, SC was just a short stop on our journey, it packed in plenty of adventure. It was also our first real taste of the Carolina mountains, and we were excited to explore.
BMW Factory Tour: Engineering at Its Finest 🚘🔧
One of the highlights of this stop was taking a tour of the BMW Manufacturing Plant. Watching the precision, automation, and teamwork between humans and machines was absolutely fascinating. Seeing how a vehicle comes together from start to finish gave us a whole new appreciation for the engineering minds behind it all.
Hidden Beauty & Small-Town Charm 🌿🍻
We stumbled upon a hidden gem in Spartanburg—Hatcher Garden. This beautiful preserve made us dream about having a backyard oasis just like it. Lush greenery, peaceful trails, and blooming flowers everywhere—it was a little slice of heaven.
Greer itself had the cutest little downtown strip, and of course, we had to stop for some cold brews while soaking in the small-town charm.
A Distillery with a Story—Sugar Tit 🥃🤍
Okay, the name might raise some eyebrows, but when we found Sugar Tit Distillery, we had to check it out. And we’re so glad we did! We met the incredible owner, who built this venture from the ground up. He gave us a tour, a tasting, and most importantly, a glimpse into his passion for distilling. Meeting inspiring people like this is one of the greatest gifts of nomadic life.
Greenville: Falls, Zoo, & Future Plans 🏞️🐆🌆
Our quick trip also took us to Greenville, and wow—this place did not disappoint. The Greenville Zoo was a fun little visit, but what really stole our hearts was downtown Greenville, centered around Reedy River Falls. The blend of city life, nature, and vibrant energy made us wish we had more time here.

Though this stop was brief, it left a big impression. Between the scenic beauty, small-town surprises, and friendly faces, we’d definitely come back for a longer stay in the future!
