Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 5 Slices Bread Toasted
- 2 Cups Milk Scalded
- 1/2 Cup Raisins
- 3 Eggs Beaten
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 tbsp Butter Melted
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2/3 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Instructions
- Toast the bread to your liking.5 Slices Bread
- While the bread is toasting scald the milk by heating until it almost boils and then cool it down for 10-15 minutes2 Cups Milk
- Cut or break the toasted bread into 1" cubes (can be bigger of smaller if you prefer)2 tbsp Butter
- Put bread cubes and all other ingredients in a bowl and stir really well2 Cups Milk, 1/2 Cup Raisins, 3 Eggs, 1 tsp Vanilla, 2 tbsp Butter, 1/4 tsp Salt, 2/3 Cup Sugar, 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, 5 Slices Bread
- Put the mixture in a baking dish and Bake at 350° for 30-45 minutes
- The pudding is done when you can insert a bread knife and it comes out clean
Notes
Can be served warm or cold. I like to add some caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream
