RV Sprain

So on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 we purchased our beautiful RV - fittingly now named Reba.  We brought her home and parked her in front of our almost empty, about to be sold house (for months we have been selling all of our belongings to save money and fit in the RV - more on this in a later post!).  We even sat in the RV in front of our house and had dinner at the table in the RV.  We are in love!

But in our crazy like fashion, something had to happen to make the day even more eventful than it already was - I mean, shouldn't buying your first RV that you will be living in full time for a year be enough excitement?  Not for us!  And this time I got to be the main character of this eventful story - while coming down from the top bunk in the RV, I slipped and sprained my ankle.  Yes, you read that correctly, first day in RV and I've sprained my ankle.  If this is even a tiny glimpse of what our RV adventure is going to be like, than you know your must follow this blog.  Day 1 and we aren't even on the road yet and we've already got a story!  A short story, but nevertheless, a story.  I am fine by the way - just hobbling along.  Nothing is going to keep us from being excited about our new adventure!

I am a mother and stepmother, fierce slayer of mental illness, writer and traveler. I love the constant change of the road, and the experiences it brings our family.  We have learned so much being full-time RVers, and love the freedom this lifestyle gives us.
